There were two sites on Blogspot one named White Women Suck and the other Black Women Suck. As of last week, the Black Women site was blocked by blogspot, yet the White Women site remains open. Why? Of course I find the idea and content of both of these sites highly objectionable, so please don't write me pretending that I am for one site over the other. I am not. What I want to know is why the double standard? If one site is objectionable enough to close then why not the other? Or maybe enough people have not flagged the White Women Suck blog. If not I encourage you to do so by clicking here.
For those of you wondering why do I care, I am reminded of what is on the Holocaust Museum in DC:
Thou shalt not be a victim. Thou shalt not be a perpetrator. Above all, thou shalt not be a bystander.

Probably for the same reasons that Lil Wayne is allowed rap lyrics that insults whites but a white person can't do the same to blacks.
Not quite. Johnny Rebel is allowed to make as many songs as Lil Wayne.
And neither of those two has to do with Blogspot and its terms of service.

And you know it is funny because over on the HP blog they like to talk about the hundreds of hate blogs directed at black women and how there are none directed at white women. But I haven't found what they were talking about when I went on google to see if that was true. I typed in things like hate black women hate white women and similar choices. At least on the first few pages there was more about people hating white women than there was about people hating black women.
The Black women suck blog wasn't even up as long as the white women suck one. And they claim that white women are the only protected group.

Yea, Una tried to defend black women on that blog and they got ugly.
This situation shows that black women are actually more protected than white women. Anyone can do or say anything about white women and get away with it.

Heck, it wasn't up hardly a few weeks. This is what goes on on Youtube. A silencing campaign goes one whereas a group of women flag certain videos at high rates.
Interesting about the white men suck blog...I didn't even know it exists - but then I don't make much of an effort to look for hate blogs. I stumbled across the white women suck blog quite by accident. HP claims that white women and black men are the ones doing all the hating and getting away with it, but the only people who seem to be doing it are some black women and some white men.... I am not going to even say all black women or all white men because I know better than that. I think the people doing this are a very twisted minority with emotional issues.
I didn't read too much of black women suck but the "author" mostly just posted articles about bad things black women had done and didn't comment that much. I don't see how that is more hateful than what Harry and crowd are doing. Right now they are discussing Munchausens Syndrome (a very rare thing overall - if it even exists because doctors debate that it does)as some proof of how horrible white women as a whole group are. I love the way they take studies and statistics out of a very limited context and try to apply them as some sort of universal proof of something.

Black women being a protected group – where?
Until a year ago, I did not know there were so many unfavourable comments about black women on the Internet. I am a black woman and I do not live in the United States. However, the comments about women, such as me, have impact even where I live.
What I find disheartening is the fact that I am automatically lumped into the “bw American” stereotype without any evidence of this behaviour and there are few opposing the stereotype. Why is there an over presentation of the negative in your media? Where is the good?
As for HP’s site, what he is saying is nothing new. I figured out the ww pedestal theory in high school where the interplay of white and black regarding dating was very apparent. I understood that I was not the referred girl. It did not matter how cute I was, how funny I was, how nice I was, or how thin I was. What matter was I was not White.
There is a ww pedestal. This is evident in how many below average looking women are sold to us as beautiful. It is evident in the media portraying ww as the only dating/marriage option to hold or move up the social ladder. It is evident in the silence of ww regarding the under representation of WOC in the media or the lack of positive representation in the media. It is evident in the way some black men choose to talk about or portray bw to the world.
White man control the world but ww are the source of the power. HP’s site is another form of information. It is about time that the pedestal was recognized for that it is - discriminatory not preference

It is not WW duty to ensure WOC to be represented in the media, it is WOC. Mostly, WOC have to give people an economic incentive to care about their projects in order to want to see them.

The shutdown of one blog does not constitute protection. How about the other negative blogs still active?
I am sorry I thought we were all sisters...according to the women’s movements. We, as women, are supposed to be supportive of each other and eliminate injustice when it presents itself. When something is not fair, I care and try to act in my own way regardless of the background of the person. I guess, it was stupid of me to believe that it would be reciprocated.
However, you are right.... I do know my value. Within the last two years, I have been exercising my worth through my purchasing choices. No representation no purchase.
harry is pitting women against each other. he is trying to convince women that they are in competition for men when the truth is men are in competition for us! we do not need to prove how worthy we are of a good man. the whole who can cook, clean, F***, mother, and maintain youth the best is just a way to make us fight amongst ourselves. i guess it feeds his(and men who think like him) ego. last time i checked, a woman is more than what she can do in the kitchen/bedroom. real men find a woman who is a companion and they love her even if she bleaches their favorite jeans or burns dinner now and again. im a pretty decent cook now, but in the early years we ate alot of pizza and we were thankful to be sharing it with each other. eventually i will age and so will he, and good willing, we will do it together.
maybe the potter club has not found love, not real love anyways. its not about what the other can do for you, its about the person they are. when you find that person they will have faults, and so will you, but they are worth getting past just to spend another day together.
