Step 1. Position yourself as a White man who loves Black women. Since it is a White man specifically it will be extra special to these insecure Black women.
Step 2. Write essays and post pictures about said Black women. Doing this will build you an audience and give you some credibility.
Step 3. As you hook the audience, introduce the products. In this case, it is t-shirts. Below are a few of the offerings
He started the site in November of 2008 and "introduced" his first shirt nearly 4 days later. He has been hawking shirts ever since. I almost feel bad for the women on the site who don't realize that their "admirer" has his admiration for them in one hand and a t-shirt for $25.75 (or more) in the other. His latest blog states "Who knows, maybe there are coming more!". If he is making money, you can count on it, LOL.
Reality Check: As long as you are insecure, their will be people in this world who will willingly exploit that insecurity for their own financial gain. It wouldn't even shock me if "Andreas" is not some Swedish "White B'woy" but some enterprising middle class American teenager or some Korean with a side business of hair weaves and skin bleacher for insecure Black women also.

No thank you. I'm going to support Freedom Theory Appearl which is by a BLACK desinger who uses Black models and his shirts show Black pride. And his shirts are much cheaper than that.

@Menelik: Thank you. :)
He's smart.
It's like giving someone a sample of crack until they become an addict.
@Uglyblackjohn: So true. Hell maybe I need to make a site like this so I can get some money to help pay off my tuition. Humans are so easy to manipulate.:)
OK, did anyone else notice that the model he used has long, curly hair and is not dark-skinned.
Clearly, this man is practicing colorism and hates black women's naturally nappy hair. He is trying to use black women by "baiting us" in with a message of "loving black women" while he simultaneously uses a half-black woman to promote his self interests.
Oh wait - you don't see it? Probably because he is white and therefore they will excuse every which way from Sunday why HE doesn't have an "average looking" black woman promoting his wares.
Hey there!
There are PLENTY of black men who make money off of desperate black women too... hello... Steve with his new advice book for sistas?!!
He's giving advice on relationships with his divorce record??!
I have no idea what this guy's site is about however... let's see ...if black men stop exploiting black women with degrading images, on street vulgarity and physical harassment and blatant disrespect online AND offline.... THEN...
I suppose the white boys won't have black men as their teachers in learning the art of how to use and hustle black women....
@ Rashida
Hmmm... either you didn't read my comment or you want to INVENT a position that I never made just to start a rant in this comment section...
I suppose that BOTH of those are strong possibilities...
I am not HARDLY blaming black men for the actions of white men so clearly you didn't read my comment...
I have no clue whether you are a black woman or not... however...your pure hostility towards black women as a group leads me to believe that there's a strong possibility that you are probably NOT a black woman...
"you people" ???
Only one race I can think of that uses THAT PHRASE incessantly when referring to blacks....
Hmmmmm.....
if black men stop exploiting black women with degrading images, on street vulgarity and physical harassment and blatant disrespect online AND offline.... THEN...
I suppose the white boys won't have black men as their teachers in learning the art of how to use and hustle black women....
If that's not BLAME, I don't know what is. You clearly stated that white "boys" have black "men" as teachers in the art of how to use and hustle black women.
"You people" are you so-called BW "empowerment bloggers who can only "uplift" black women by bashing black men. If you don't think you're one of "them" you should re-read your original comment.
You came to this blog and this post just to say that "black men do it too!." What does that have to do with this white man pimping black women out to sell t-shirts??
Steve Harvey and his white publishers saw a market so they went after it. If black women want people to stop making money off their inability to keep a man they should either learn how to keep a man or shut up about being single. Either way, people will continue to go after the folks jumping up and down looking for a solution to their problems. It's called free market capitalism.
@ Rashida
Spewing your hostility at all black women doesn't elevate you at all... it doesn't make you seem intelligent or mature or even emotionally-stable...
Of course, you have no clue of that because you are so busy trying to dissect others' thinking that you haven't checked into the mentality that YOU ARE revealing ...
If you think that my blog forum "bashes" black men then you are borderline illiterate or you haven't read ANYTHING at my forum...
May I mention how PURELY IGNORANT it sounds for anyone to try to lump all empowerment blogs into one pot...
It's as ignorant as lumping all black women or all black men into one pot...
{pulling out the can of raid}
Poof! Be gone!
It's soooo not worth my time to engage with black women who hate themselves so much that they spew their hostilities at ALL black women...
Not worth my time at all...
I am sure some readers are deeply amused by watching how unglued you are in a discussion that you can't frame your thoughts with any sort of intelligent discourse...tossing all empowerment blogs into one pot ... using the "you people" language that Massa taught you...
So go on ahead...continue to yell at the door that I just slammed shut on you like a total nut case....
Go on...
Spewing your hostility at all black women doesn't elevate you at all... it doesn't make you seem intelligent or mature or even emotionally-stable...
LOL @ you. My "hostility" is aimed at the very small but very vocal group of black female supremacist victim ideologues - not black women in general. Many black women are not at all like that. I respond to the loud "clucking hens" who want to blame everybody and their mamas for THEIR failures and THEIR problems - especially black men. I have a husband, father, grandfather, father in law, brother in law, cousins, friends, etc who are black men who *I* feel deserve to be defended against the ridiculous slander *you people* toss out. If your message is "the truth" it shouldn't matter what detractors say about you. This is why some women fail at leading because they are so concerned with what others think and are so busy trying to play tit for tat. You have responded to me twice on this blog and attacked my character - how does that help "the collective interest of black women"??
I am not looking to be elevated by anyone. My purpose in life is not to save black men or black women - I do not claim to be a savior or an empowerer. Like thousands of other people I communicate on the internet when I have the time and energy. Nothing more, nothing less. Perhaps you are *looking* for all black women to be some sort of warrior for the cause. There are plenty of women out there trying to do that.
Of course, you have no clue of that because you are so busy trying to dissect others' thinking that you haven't checked into the mentality that YOU ARE revealing ...
Uhm, outside of writing about my OWN thoughts and opinions, I think that dissecting the thoughts of others is par for the course. Perhaps you don't TRULY wish for ALL black women to be "free" and "live well" - just the black women who feel like they have been victims of black men and routinely blog/write about it. My mentality is just that....MY mentality. Dissect it, pick it apart, hell you can even blog about it if you want. Either way, I really don't care.
Why are you even on this blog anyway? Aren't there plenty of other blogs by your fellow warriors where you can sit and list the stats of black men in prison, on drugs, with nonblack women, etc etc? But I bet it must be boring spending years and years repeating the same tired old lines to the same tired old group of women.
And you still have not addressed the MAIN issue of this post which is a white man (or Asian college student) pimping out insecure black women.
Are you OK with this or is it only OK because black men do it too?
And you just deleted your other comments - so who looks like the total nut case??
Girl, BYE.
"Speaking of your blog, I actually enjoy your essays. I may not agree with you but I appreciate the fact that you do not feel the need to bash black men incessantly and seem to really just want to help black women get out of the muck."

EXACT QUOTE WRITTEN BY RASHIDA ABOUT MY BLOG **from her own blog!!
And at THIS blog, she's "claiming" that I bash black men at my blog!!!
*LOL*
Am I talking to a Multiple personality blogger??
*LOL*
From your tone here Rashida....I certainly think so....
This blog host ought to charge entrance fees for the way you have entertained us all...
Now go take your meds...
Seriously. Go now...
^^^
Ouch!
Rashida and BWBTTrumpet,
This thread just goes to show that everyone has their moments. I know I have mine. Hopefully we can get past those moments and focus on the issues.
On this issue, you both have good points.
Trumpet's point is valid, many exploit Black women and their insecurity, including BM.
Rashida's point is right, Black men are not doing the "teaching" of others. If one is vulnerable to exploitation, exploiters will eventually take notice.

Now it's the black man's fault that white men are using black women??!!

Lisa, you know you really ought to re-read your comments and maybe you'll appreciate that Rashida made an extremily valid point!
Why resort to slurs? Is this the only means by which you can avoid dealing with the fact that you were wrong?

@ Sista Rashida,
you know, you really need to read peoples blogs more carefully next to before heaping praise upon their owners.
I've read most of Lisa's posts are she scares the bejesus out of me, I can tell you. Every position she takes is a fundamentalist one. She simply chills the blood!

There are PLENTY of black men who make money off of desperate black women too... hello... Steve with his new advice book for sistas?!!
Steve Harvey's book is for WOMEN, not "sistas".
He's giving advice on relationships with his divorce record??
He's giving advice on MEN. He flat out stated that he is no relationship expert, yet clarified that he is an expert on MEN.
Rashida. She will never admit that she hates black men.
I tried to explain that to her, but she banned me from her site. lol
She can dance around it all she wants, but she is a black man hater but at the same time. Never finds any fault with white men. Sounds familar.
Anyway, love your post. Keep up the good work.
Joe Clyde, have you actually read Rev. Lisa's blog? Like more than an entry or two?
She doesn't allow Black women to play the 'blame the Black man' card, but she doesn't act like your sh*t doesn't stink either.
She doesn't allow folks to pull the generalization card whether it extends to Black, White, male or female. But sh*t isn't sugarcoated either.
SMDH, I am convinced that if Black women aren't kissing the Black mans behind then we're labelled 'haters'. LOL, some of us know better!
I don't really have a problem with dude selling t-shirts or whatnot. If people wanna buy that sh*t (lol), then do that. Last time I checked, it wasn't a crime.
@ Joe Clyde
Clearly, you haven't read my blog posts... or perhaps you don't understand the material...
It's not written at the G.E.D. level...
If you HAD actually read any of my posts you would have known BY NOW that my forum focuses on self-introspection...
It's a self-introspection blog. I am sure that word is a big one for you... www.dictionary.com
You will find that self-introspection HAS NOTHING to do with elevating white men...
Tsk, tsk...
Now we know why the public schools are closing....don't tell me... that's where you learned how to read??
Oh and by the way... you were banned from my site as Joe Wilkerson ....not as Joe Clyde... and the reason was that you continued to show up in discussions WITHOUT reading the posts and making assinine comments that had nothing to do with the posts....
Joe Clyde: Actually, I use to frequent her blog a lot.
She essentially constantly portrays black women as victims to Black men. Its old and tired.
What is also lame is how Black women come back with the "kissing black men's butts" line.
Nobody is asking for that. But if your going to talk about the disenfranchisement of Black women. Its delusional for you not to include white men. Let alone praise them as saviors.
Rev Lisa: Oh and by the way... you were banned from my site as Joe Wilkerson ....not as Joe Clyde... and the reason was that you continued to show up in discussions WITHOUT reading the posts and making assinine comments that had nothing to do with the posts....
^^^^^^^^^^
lol, Rev Lisa pulled your cards. Now it makes sense why you don't like her blog. lmao
Why give free reign to blackwoman blowthetrumpet when u cant even peep the home page of her blog? She has to give you permission to. You should block her just the same. What goes around come around.
Here's the deal:
You can't take a limited knowledge of a sight and use it to produce a point. Go visit the site. Screw the t-shirts! Any cause is going to have a shirt, get real!
The site is not "promoting t-shirts" its uplifting the black woman. I for one, am proud to be a black woman without ANY man, white, black, or otherwise having to encourage me to be. But, as afore mentioned, black women are degraded in our society, plain and simple, and I'm appreciative of someone else recognizing and appreciating the beauty that I see in the mirror every day. Am I going to run and marry the first white guy I see because this 'white b'woy' thinks black women are beautiful? HECK NO! I was beautiful before the sight and I'll be beautiful long after it, but I'm grateful for someone spending time and money to uplift instead of tearing down.
He's showing black women in a positive light. You don't have to be 'insecure' to realize that in today's society, that's a GOOD thing.
Selling a T-shirt is not exploitation...
...uness it is sold at gunpoint. What you are suggesting is that Black women are too stupid to make their own choices of what to purchase and what not to.
NEWS FLASH: Black women buy things that were made or sold by White people every day.
Now, why is it that when when a Black woman accepts praise from a White man that she's "desperate" but when a Black man accepts praise from a White woman it's "progress?"
Now rashida made a comment about the model have long curly hair and not being dark skin and colorism which I find funny... she basic said because this models skin was to light she is not black enough .. so your telling me my son who is half black half white is not black enough really at the end of the day that model is black no matter how light she is who are you to say what an average black women looks like black women are different no two are the same we are not average and if we keep thinking we are then that is just crazy and sad..... And for you people to think the worst of this man when you don’t know him is just crazy too..... Now the T-Shirts people come on us black women buy clothes from white people everyday overpriced clothes that are not advertising how wonderful we are so if this man has found away to combine his love for black women and not go broke then good for him
This is the place to write my growing suspicion:
Are the black woman the new blonde?!
Free for everyone to use for it's own purpose!!
